KAYSVILLE, Utah, October 20, 2026 — OptConnect, an industry leader in managed wireless connectivity solutions, has been named a 2026 Inc. Power Partner Awards winner. The honor marks the second year in a row OptConnect has made the list, which recognizes leading B2B partners supporting entrepreneurs and businesses across the country.
The Inc. Power Partner Awards honor top-tier B2B firms across categories like infrastructure, legal, marketing, and operations. Honorees are chosen using a mix of client reference surveys, independent research and editorial review, spotlighting the partners who most consistently help founders and leadership teams focus on their core business instead of the problems getting in their way.
“Business owners have no shortage of tools at their disposal, and B2B companies need to make clear why their products and services are worth the investment,” said Bonny Ghosh, editorial director at Inc. “The companies on this year’s Power Partners list have done just that. They don’t just have customers; they have superfans and evangelists. Across industries like marketing, financial services, and technology, they’ve proved their dedication to helping fellow business owners grow and succeed.”
“Making the Power Partner list two years running tells us we’re doing right by the people who depend on us most,” said Chris Baird, CEO of OptConnect. “Growing companies don’t have the time or the staff to babysit their own connectivity, so we obsess over those details and let them focus on running their business. This recognition belongs to the whole OptConnect team, because they’re the ones who show up for those customers every day.”
It has been a busy year for OptConnect. In January 2026, the company acquired Canada-based DPL Wireless, adding engineering depth and AI-powered device-intelligence capabilities to its global connectivity platform. In June, OptConnect achieved a rare ISO certification trifecta spanning security, privacy and AI governance, putting it among a small group of managed connectivity providers certified across all three. The following month, OptConnect advanced to Diamond Partner status with hardware manufacturer Teltonika.
The Power Partner nod adds to a fuller trophy case for OptConnect this year. The company landed on the Inc. 5000 list for the ninth consecutive year and was named to the Utah Business Fast 50 for the fifth year running, at No. 32. This spring, CEO Chris Baird also was named a 2026 Salt Lake City Titan 100 honoree.
More than 12,000 customers across sectors including ATMs, vending, digital signage, security, and irrigation rely on OptConnect’s fully managed and semi-managed connectivity solutions to keep their equipment online and their businesses running.
“We know we will never get the same level of care from another vendor; it’s just not going to happen,” said Stephanie Slattery, Director of Project Management at Captivate. “In the end, OptConnect is the ideal partner because they save us time and money.”
