July 2026 | Regional Billing

Overview:

Regional Billing brings transparent, usage-based pricing to global roaming. Instead of juggling multiple region-specific SIM plans, you can choose a single globally roaming plan that bills you based on the location of your data-using device. Consult your standard invoice for a clear breakdown of regional usage that shows what you’re paying for and why.

Billing & Invoicing

  • Single Global SKU – Buy one globally roaming plan instead of managing separate region-specific SIMs. Pricing automatically reflects where each device is actually used.
  • Itemized Regional Invoicing – View a single ‘Regional Data’ line item in your standard invoice, backed by a downloadable detail file, and a usage/cost breakdown by country.
  • No New Workflow  – Tap into Regional Billing through your existing invoicing flow, with no separate system or process to learn.

Usage Visibility

  • Usage by Region – Pinpoint data usage by location, at both the device and account level, to manage spend and plan future deployments with greater confidence.
  • Improved Usage Maps – Use enhanced visual tools to identify where and how devices are using data across regions.

Alerts & Guardrails

  • Regional Spend Alerts – Get notified when a device enters a high-cost region or crosses a usage threshold (defined by you), so you can act before charges add up.

SIM lifecycle management now works the same way, every time, no matter which carrier you’re using. You can initiate suspension, or restoration directly from the device or SIM detail view, and Lattigo handles the carrier-specific work behind the scenes — including automatic retries if something doesn’t go through the first time.

You’ll get real-time, visible status updates as each action processes, so you’re never left wondering what’s happening. And if a carrier’s API is temporarily unavailable, you’re not stuck waiting: manual support-requests are there as a fallback. Suspension and restoration follow each carrier’s own policies, so your SIM’s status stays aligned with actual usage and billing.

What this means for you:

  • Consistent experience — the same straightforward process for every SIM, regardless of carrier.
  • Less manual work — no more carrier-by-carrier workarounds to manage.
